Elaine Li is a food photographer and food scientist based in Orangeville, Ontario. She was professionally trained in Food Science (University of Guelph), Culinary Arts, and Nutrition (Fanshawe College), and has worked in the food industry for 7 years for several iconic Canadian and international food brands. During her time as a food product developer, she developed innovative, easy-to-cook products that help consumers gain confidence in the kitchen, and craveable menu items for restaurant chains that make the brand younger and drive social sharing.

Elaine discovered her passion for food photography when showcasing her own culinary creations. She is a regular contributor to the food column of In The Hills magazine, an independent, locally owned publication featuring food and culture stories in the Headwaters region (Orangeville, Caledon, Erin, Dufferin and Creemore). Elaine works with restaurants, chefs, small business owners & consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies to capture vibrant, authentic & engaging photos that elevate the brands through visual storytelling.
